The genesis of The Rim Corporation was MTSP, and Agricultural and Real Estate Development Company formed in 1965. In 1983, Mark and Jim Burden joined MTSP to undertake another venture realizing the initial vision. The eight original founders of MTSP, along with Mark and Jim Burden, established The Rim Corporation. Rim has since evolved into a recognized leader in the hotel industry.
